SYMPATICO BEGINS SUMMERFEST CONTEST

Sympatico.ca has begun an eight-week concert contest in Ontario. Called "Summerfest," the promotion is being presented by Sympatico in association with Virgin Music Canada, EMI Music Canada and Eye Weekly. Consumers can enter by visiting the <http://www.summerfest.sympatico.ca> Web site. Additional contest ballots can be earned by referring friends. Weekly prizes include tickets to Edgefest, dinner with tickets and a limo to a Lenny Kravitz concert, as well as tickets to a Beth Orton show with the opportunity to meet her backstage. The contest is being promoted with online materials on the Sympatico.ca and Eye Weekly Web sites, a full page ad in Eye Weekly, a four-week radio campaign on Toronto stations Flow and Energy FM and print advertising in The Toronto Star. The Summerfest contest will run until Aug. 15. Mighty Design of Toronto, Sympatico, Virgin Music, EMI and Eye contributed to the creation of the contest and supporting advertising.
