TAXI, COSSETTE MEDIA FIRST CANADIAN WINNERS AT CANNES

Toronto's Taxi Advertising and Cossette Media are the first Canadian winners at the Cannes International Advertising Festival. Taxi received three gold Lions in the Outdoor and Press competition, while Cossette Media was a winner in the Media competition. Taxi won in the advertising and media category for a series of ads it created for the Marketing Awards. The agency also won silver in the fundraising and appeals category for three ads for Covenant House. The same three ads also won bronze in the public awareness messages/fundraising and charities category. Cossette Media won in the business to business category for an ad for Bell Canada. The annual advertising festival runs until June 22.
