By Adnews Staff
The Ontario Human Rights Commission has hired Sharpe Blackmore Euro RSCG of Toronto to develop a campaign focusing on age discrimination. The agency received the assignment after the commission and its PR agency GPC International invited the firm to participate in a review. A press conference on June 13 will launch the campaign. The creative for the campaign's newspaper and magazines inserts will be introduced there. Four inserts addressing discrimination in the areas of employment, transit services, health care and housing have been created. Each insert shows a picture of a person with a "Best Before Age..." sticker attached to his or her forehead. The age of the person is shown on the sticker. The inserts will be distributed in 300 English and French publications in June. They will also be inserted in the August, September and November issues of FiftyPlus magazine.
