SURVEY: TOO MUCH SEX USED TO SELL PRODUCTS TODAY

According to a new survey released by BBM Canada, 62% of consumers polled agree or strongly agree that, "too much sex is being used to sell products today." The RTS Canada survey is the largest consumer survey ever released by BBM, an industry organization that provides ratings information for radio and television to broadcasters, advertisers and agencies. Its survey of approximately 52,000 respondents also found that 59% of consumers chose gardening as their number one sports leisure activity, followed by fitness walking (55%) and camping (47%). Also, 64% reported a very (18%) or somewhat (46%) favourable impression of door-to-door flyers, while 2% have shopped at an online grocery store in the past year.
