HEINZ TO PROMOTE KETCHUP KICKERS TO ADULTS

Heinz Canada has released a new line of flavoured ketchups aimed at adults called Ketchup Kickers. The line includes three varieties: Roasted Garlic, Hot & Spicy and Sweet Basil and Oregano. The products will be distributed in 575 ml bottles with high gloss packaging and labels that, according to Heinz, mirror the flavour of Ketchup Kickers. In-store marketing materials such as neckhangers will initially be used to build awareness and encourage trial of the product. National television and print advertising will break this fall. The in-store materials were created by Lisus Group Inc. Advertising for the Ketchup Kickers line will be done by Leo Burnett.
