LABATT BEGINS OUTDOOR ADVERTISING FOR CARLSBERG

Labatt Breweries of Canada has begun a new advertising campaign for its Carlsberg brand using E-Caps North America's outdoor advertising service. Winnipeg-based E-Caps places advertising on non-rotating covers attached to the wheels of taxi cabs. Labatt is promoting Carlsberg's support of international soccer with a seven-week ad campaign in Toronto. The wheel cover creative, designed by Toronto-based Grip, displays the Carlsberg name and a soccer ball on the top half and the flags of six countries with the copy "Proud support of international soccer" on the bottom half. Sales of E-Caps wheel covers are handled by Prime Outdoor of Toronto.
