RECKITT BENCKISER CANADA REVIEWING MEDIA ACCOUNT

Reckitt Benckiser (Canada) Inc. is in the final stages of an agency review for its media account. John Broome, marketing director for Reckitt Benckiser (Canada), said the review was prompted by the global re-alignment of the company's creative advertising account. Earlier this week Reckitt Benckiser appointed EURO RSCG and J. Walter Thompson its global ad agencies. EURO RSCG will be responsible for the company's fabric, dishwashing and homecare products, while JWT will handle the health and personal care products and surface products. Broome would not identify the three media agencies participating in the review. The company hopes to make a final decision by the end of the next week. The incumbent is M2 Universal.
