HARRY ROSEN READIES WINDOW PROMOTION
By Adnews Staff
Toronto-based menswear retailer Harry Rosen will begin a three-week window promotion on May 1. The national campaign will involve a specially designed window display in each of the 16 Harry Rosen stores in Canada. Each window will be designed to reflect the personality of a hotel in that particular city. A mannequin in each display will wear clothes that might be worn by business travellers. The window displays will be designed the retailer's visual display managers. "Business travel is a fact of life for a good percentage of Canadian businessmen," said Rosen, chief executive officer of the company. "But the whole idea of business travel is still causing great confusion about what to wear on the road. This promotion allows us the opportunity to offer some advice on the subject while saluting excellence in the hospitality business." The campaign runs until May 20.
