CASEY'S BAR & GRILL BEGINS NEW RADIO CAMPAIGN
By Adnews Staff
Casey's Bar & Grill has begun a new radio campaign which uses the tagline "Fresh. Everyday." The spots were created by Top Advertising of Toronto. Sounds used in the ads are intended to evoke the freshness of the chain's menu items. In one spot, a "chop, chop, chop" sound is intended to represent potatoes being cut into fries. In another, a "yum, yum, yum" sound is intended to represent a customer eating a burger. Anna DiPede, senior vice-president of marketing and brand development for Prime Restaurant Group, which owns Casey's Bar & Grill, said the radio medium allows the ads to take advantage of the sounds and emotions associated with freshness and quality. The two commercials are running in Ontario on a number of stations including Mix 99.9 and CHUM FM. Public relations for Casey's Bar & Grill are handled by Thornley Fallis Communications of Toronto.
