RESPONSIBLE GAMBLING COUNCIL DEBUTS WEB SITE

The Responsible Gambling Council (Ontario) has unveiled its re-designed Web site at <http://www.responsiblegambling.org>. The site contains information on the council, responsible gambling programs for secondary and post-secondary students and a collection of articles, reports and documents about responsible gambling. The site also offers an inquiry service called InfoSource through which counsellors, members of the media, gaming providers, teachers and students can find information on various gambling issues. The site also hosts the council's quarterly newsletter and a directory of care providers and treatment centres. Marketing support for the site has consisted of promotion in the newsletter. A specially designed mousepad was also created and delivered with the newsletter. In a separate direct mail campaign the mousepad sent out by itself. The re-design of the Web site was done by cgk Technologies Group Inc. of Barrie, ON.
