BROTHER PROMOTES WORK GROUP SOLUTIONS IN NEW TV CAMPAIGN

Brother International Corporation (Canada) Ltd. of Dollard-des-Ormeaux, PQ, is promoting its Work Group Solutions in a new television advertising campaign. The year-long campaign was created by Toronto-based Cormark MacPhee. The creative describes office equipment inefficiencies and ways to eliminate "uncooperative" equipment. It makes use of two gangster characters called Vito and Tony who eliminate sources of office inefficiency. These include centralized printers and photocopiers that difficult to use and prone to breakdowns. The campaign's tagline is "Put the hit on inefficiency." A 30-second spot called "Bridge" broke yesterday in English Canada. A French version of the spot will be released later this month. It will be followed by four 15-second spots called "Grave", "Office Hit", "Bureau Job" and "Taking out the Garbage."
