UNCLE BEN'S INTRODUCES BREAKFAST BOWLS

Masterfoods USA of Hackettstown, NJ will introduce a line of products called Uncle Ben's Breakfast Bowls this month. The line consists of eight meals that can be prepared in four minutes: bacon, egg and potatoes; French toast and sausage; ham, egg and peppers; sausage, egg and biscuit; egg, cheese and salsa; apple and cinnamon pancakes; peach and pecan pancakes; and seven grain cereal and fruit. This is the brand's first entry in the breakfast category. Other bowl meals from the company include Uncle Ben's Rice Bowls, Noodle Bowls and Pasta Bowls. Officials at Effem Canada, which markets Uncle Ben's products in Canada, could not be reached for comment on whether Breakfast Bowls will be sold in Canada.
