LABATT BREAKS BUDWEISER CAMPAIGN IN QUEBEC

Montreal-based Palm Publicité Marketing has created a new television campaign for Labatt's Budweiser brand. Two 30-second commercials are currently running in Quebec in English and French. The first is an illustration of the beer-making process set to rock music. As it concludes an electric guitar is formed from the foam spilling out of a glass of Budweiser. The second spot depicts a rooster on top of a Budweiser grain silo in the middle of the night. The rooster suddenly begins to crow in a rock-style, waking the chicken coop which also begins to rock. The campaign, which also includes Budweiser's sponsorship of the Radio-Canada television series "Le dernier chapitre", will run until June 9.
