CFL SIGNS SECOND PARTNER FOR 2002 SEASON

The Canadian Football League has formed a partnership with JB Williams Inc. of Glen Rock, NJ. The corporate sponsorship will see JB Williams' Aqua Velva named the official aftershave of the CFL when the 2002 season begins on June 25. JB Williams' sponsorship includes the regular season, the playoffs and the Grey Cup game. The company will hold a national consumer sweepstakes tied to its sponsorship which will give away a trip to the Grey Cup in Edmonton in November. Late last month the CFL formed a similar partnership with DeWalt Canada by which DeWalt becomes the official power tool company of the CFL. DeWalt also plans to undertake a national marketing promotion tied to its sponsorship.
