SEARS INTRODUCES FAMILY FIRST LOYALTY PROGRAM

Toronto-based retailer Sears Canada has introduced a new nationa loyalty program in its retail stores. The "Sears Family First Club" is aimed at mothers with children under the age of 12, although anyone who pays the membership fee can join. Members receive discounts at Sears and its partner chains including Choice Hotels and Pharmasave. Members also receive a Sears Family First magazine published by Redwood Customer Communications. The 52-page publication. to be issued three times a year, will contain additional coupons. Sears will initially promote the Family First Club with statement inserts, in flyers and with in-store materials. Creative for the promotional materials was designed by Quantum Communications Group of London, ON.
