CANADIAN SOCCER ASSOCIATION PICKS PJ DDB

The Canadian Soccer Association, based in Ottawa, has awarded a communications campaign assignment to Palmer Jarvis DDB in Edmonton. The campaign will promote the Federation Internationale de Football Association's Under-19 Women's World Championship this summer. Twelve international teams will participate in the event which will begin on Aug. 17 and will take place in Vancouver, Victoria and Edmonton. PJ DDB will develop collateral and advertising materials for the campaign which will begin in the three cities in May. PJ DDB won the assignment based on work it did to promote the eighth International Association of Athletics Federations' World Championships in Athletics event which took place in Edmonton in August 2001.
