MCMILLAN OPENS VANCOUVER OFFICE

Ottawa-based marketing agency McMillan & Associates has opened an ffice in Vancouver. Heading the office are creative director Graham Rapsey and account supervisor Jonathan Forgacs. Rapsey returns to the firm after two years at Karacters DDB and Karo Design Resources, both of Vancouver. Forgacs was previously director of marketing at Mindquake Software Inc. in Vancouver. Several of the firm's clients, including PeopleSoft, Charles Schwab and Microsoft, are based in California and Washington state. "The Vancouver shop will help us service them better and allow us to foster working relationships with B.C.-based businesses," said agency president Gordon McMillan. "We've already landed a new media marketing assignment with the Canucks and have several other local businesses interested in our work." McMillan offers advertising, direct marketing, online marketing, public relations and special events services.
