TOYOTA TO SPONSOR CANADIAN SKI PATROL SYSTEM

Toronto-based Toyota Canada has been named the national sponsor of the Canadian Ski Patrol System. The Ottawa-based national volunteer organization promotes safe skiing and provides first aid to injured skiers on hills and trails. Toyota will provide $50,000 in annual financial support as well as five four-wheel drive trucks bearing Toyota and Canadian Ski Patrol System decals. The organization's approximately 6,000 patrollers will also wear Toyota logos on their jackets. The three-year sponsorship agreement gives Toyota the right to have its logo on all Canadian Ski Patrol System materials and Internet sites. Other sponsors of the Canadian Ski Patrol System include Avalanche ski wear and Ombrelle suncare products.
