MICROSOFT BREAKS GLOBAL .NET CAMPAIGN

Microsoft Corporation of Redmond, WA breaks a global campaign today for its .Net XML service platform. The focus of the "One Degree of Separation" campaign is how Microsoft's enterprise software and .Net platform can help companies connect with customers, partners and employees. The advertising will highlight a number of companies which have already begun using the .Net platform including Dollar Rent A Car, The Nasdaq Stock Market Inc. and Pfizer Inc. The $200 million campaign will run for the year. Print and television advertising will target business managers and information technology professionals. The campaign was created by McCann-Erickson of San Francisco and is beginning simultaneously in Canada, the U.S., Brazil, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Sweden and the United Kingdom.
