ENERGIZER FIRST ADVERTISER ON SAM'S SQUARE BOARD

Energizer Canada of Mississauga is the first advertiser on Toronto-based Tribar Industries' new television board on top of the "Sam the Record Man" store on Yonge Street in Toronto. The board went into service late last month. It consists of two backlit billboards on either side of a 288 sq. ft. video screen. Energizer's creative has a large battery on each billboard. The screen in the middle displays an "electrical charge" effect followed 15-seconds of repurposed television creative despicting the company's pink bunny character. Tribar has four other TV Board locations in Toronto: at Spadina Road and Dundas Street, along the Gardiner Expressway at the CNE, along the Gardiner Expressway at Spadina and along the Don Valley Parkway at Dundas. Advertising for Energizer Canada is done by Palmer Jarvis DDB of Toronto. Advertising sales for Tribar's TV Boards are handled by Media Alternatives, also of Toronto.
