Strategic Objectives of Toronto has been hired by Whole Foods Market of Austin, TX, to handle the natural and organic supermarket chain's debut in the Canadian market. Whole Foods Market operates 125 stores in the U.S. Its first Canadian location will open in Toronto on May 1, selling fresh fruits and vegetables, meat, fish, cheese, fresh-chilled prepared foods and packaged goods. Strategic Objectives was one of three agencies shortlisted from an earlier list of 25, said Camille Krupa, marketing director for Whole Foods Market. In the U.S. public relations for Whole Foods Market are handled by Cone Inc. of Boston, TX.
