YAK COMMUNICATIONS HIRES THE COMMUNICATIONS GROUP

Yak Communications Inc. of Toronto has appointed The Communications Group Inc. its public relations agency of record. Yak provides long distance discount services to business and residential customers. The Communications Group, which got the account through a referral, will be responsible for Yak's Canadian public relations program. The Toronto-based agency will also handle Yak's U.S. rollout later this year. Previously public relations were handled in-house.
