CFL AND COLLEGIATE LICENSING FORM MARKETING AGREEMENT

The Canadian Football League and the Collegiate Licensing Company have reached a new a licensing and product marketing agreement. Atlanta-based CLC is the largest independent licensing agency in North America. As part of the agreement, CLC will create a new company called Licensing Partners International. LPI will have offices in Toronto and New York and will be lead by Fred Scalera. Scalera was most recently director of licensing and merchandise for the United States Olympic Committee. CFL director of marketing Jim Neish has been appointed senior director of marketing for LPI. The company's Toronto location will focus exclusively on growing and developing the CFL licensing business and will operate out of CFL's Toronto-based head office.
