POWERBAR PROMOTES ENERGY BARS WITH NEWAD

Nestle has returned to Toronto-based media company NewAd to promote its PowerBar nutrition bars. For the past three years PowerBar has run Stickerboard campaigns through NewAd's health and fitness network at the start of the new year. The 2002 campaign, which will run nationally for 10 weeks, will involve wall and mirror decals in the male and female changing rooms of 130 health and fitness clubs. The decals are intended to inform consumers of the benefits of the bars. PowerBar Inc., based in Berkeley, CA, was acquired by Nestle last year.
