BURGER KING SINGS BLUES IN NEW CAMPAIGN

Burger King Corp. of Miami is promoting its new menu items with a series of television and radio ads featuring musician B.B. King. The ads promote various sandwiches available mornings and evenings. The commercials, which are running nationally, focus on the new Egg'wich and King Supreme burger. A 30-second and 60-second radio spot present King talking and singing about the new items. A 30-second television spot and two 15-second spots depict King sitting on a crescent moon singing "BK and BB let you have it your way." According to Craig Braasch, vice-president of global advertising and promotions at Burger King, the chain's customers recently voted King a "Living Legend" from among a list of musicians including Aretha Franklin and James Brown. The television and radio ads were created by McCaffery Ratner Gottlieb & Lane of New York.
