WHITEHALL-ROBINS BUILDS WEB SITES FOR FIVE BRANDS

Non-prescription pharmaceutical company Whitehall-Robins Inc. of Mississauga has opened Canadian Web sites for five brands: pain reliever Advil, calcium supplement Caltrate, Preparation H hemorrhoid cream, the Centrum line of vitamins and Robitussin cough syrups and cold and flu products. Each site, designed by Toronto-based GreyInteractive Canada, is designed to provide easy-to-understand information. The Advil.ca, Caltrate.ca, Centrumvitamins.ca, Robitussin.ca and Preparationh.ca Web sites include learning centres, frequently asked questions sections, brand-specific information and a number of "digital utilities", such as a Centrum centre for vitamin and mineral information and a Preparation H online quiz, that take visitors through health-related scenarios and offer them the product that best matches their input. Previously Canadian consumers could find product information for the five brands on U.S. sites. GreyInteractive Worldwide has been working for Whitehall-Robins to develop sites for the company's major brands worldwide. The company's brands also include Chapstick lip balms, Dristan nasal sprays, Robaxacet back pain reliever and Dimetapp cold relief products.
