HOTSPEX, AIRWALK CANADA DESIGN NEW SHOE

Hotspex is assisting Airwalk Canada of Mississauga on the design and creation of the next Airwalk running shoe. Toronto-based Hotspex develops online customized environments that allow members of the public to take part in the creation of products and services. The Airwalk program began in early November and has so far attracted about 1,000 participants. The information gathered through the program will be forwarded to the designers at Airwalk Canada incorporated into the shoe. The new Airwalk running shoe will be available exclusively through Sport Chek stores when it is released next year. Posters promoting the project are on display at roughly 80 Sport Chek stores across Canada. The Web sites <http://www.hotspex.com> and <http://www.sportchek.ca> display links to the project.
