NOVARTIS BEGINS RADIO CAMPAIGN FOR BRADOSOL LOZENGES

A three-week radio campaign for Novartis Consumer Health Canada Inc.'s Bradosol throat lozenges began airing on 23 stations in Winnipeg, Toronto, Calgary, London, Edmonton and Ottawa today. The 30-second spot aims to put listeners in the mind of someone with a sore throat. Listeners hear a woman try to talk herself into not swallowing in order to avoid the pain. The ad then describes the soothing of sore throats and the killing of bacteria benefits of Bradosol lozenges. It ends with the tagline "Get Bradosol throat lozenges. Get relieft from the 'ow'." Creative for the campaign was done by The Norman Agency. Media buying was handled by Excelerator Media. Both of these agencies are based in Toronto.
