FUJIFILM HIRES JOHN STREET
By Adnews Staff
Fujifilm Canada Inc. of Mississauga has hired Toronto-based John Street as its new advertising agency of record. John Street won the business without a review. The incumbent on the account was Ammirati Puris of Toronto. John Street's president and chief executive officer Arthur Fleischmann had previously worked on the Fujifilm account when he was president and chief operating officer of Ammirati. He, along with the agency's co-creative directors Angus Tucker and Stephen Jurisic and director of strategic planning Emily Bain, left Ammirati in July to open John Street. As Fujifilm's AOR, John Street will be responsible for strategic and creative planning as well as media planning and buying. Public relations for Fujifilm are handled by APEX Public Relations of Toronto.
