VISA CONTINUES WHEN'S OF LIFE CAMPAIGN WITH NEW SPOT
By Adnews Staff
In a new television commercial for its Platinum card Visa Canada continues to focus on unexpected moments when its helps to have a Visa card. The 30-second spot began running nationally, excluding Quebec, this week. In it, a woman attempts to break in to a car because the keys have been locked inside. She damages the car as she tries to open the door with a coat hanger. The car's owner arrives and points out that she has the wrong car. The spot ends with the line "When oops seems somewhat inadequate" and the tagline "All You Need." A print ad for Visa Platinum has been created to run in Quebec. The spot will run in rotation with the first ad in the campaign. That 30-second spot promotes the Visa Gold card. In it, a husband suddenly offers his wife a trip to Paris. The spot ends with the line "When you need a one way ticket out of the doghouse." Additional executions using the "When's of Life" theme will be created to promote other Visa cards. The campaign was created by Leo Burnett.
