MONARCH CONSTRUCTION RENOVATES CORPORATE IDENTITY

Monarch Construction Ltd. has unveiled an updated corporate identity. This is the third time the company has changed its corporate identity since it was founded in 1917. The Toronto-based real estate company used London-based Citigate Lloyd Northover for its corporate identity program which includes an updated logo. The company kept the red four-figure icon from its previous logo and placed it above the Monarch name and the phrase "A Taylor Woodrow Company." Monarch is a member of the UK-based Taylor Woodrow Group, which has housing operations in the UK, United States, Canada, Spain and Australia. Monarch's new look will be incorporated into all advertising, marketing collateral, its Web site, signage, stationary and other business materials. Its corporate identity program is being implemented worldwide to provide a uniform and consistent look across all Taylor Woodrow companies, said Brian Johnson, president of Monarch Construction. The company uses a number of agencies for its advertising. Public relations are handled by The Communications Group of Toronto.
