CONSULTING ASSOCIATION STARTS NEW BRANDING STRATEGY
By Adnews Staff
The Canadian Association of Management Consultants has introduced a new branding and communications strategy designed to convey the benefits that management consulting brings to Canadian business. The Toronto-based association has had Gottschalk + Ash International, also of Toronto, working on the strategy for the past year. The program describes the association as "The Single Voice of Management Consulting in Canada" and the CMC designation, administered by the association, as "A Higher Level of Management Consulting." An advertising campaign will begin in the new year focusing on the CMC certification. The association has also retained Shiller & Associates Inc. of Toronto for a number of public relations initiatives over the next few months, including a national speaking tour and media generating program, a digital newsletter, editorial page articles on public policy issues and "how-to" articles for community newspapers.
