ZELLERS BREAKS HOLIDAY SPOT

Zellers Inc. of Brampton, ON has released a new holiday television commercial created by Ogilvy & Mather of Toronto. The spot features actor Eric Braeden, who is plays Victor Newman on the daytime soap The Young and the Restless. In it, Braeden sits on Santa's knee and delivers his holiday wish list. The spot ends with shots of various products. The ad will run nationally in English and French until Dec. 23. In December the end of the ad will be modified to promote the retailer's deferred payment program. Public relations for Zellers are handled by Harbinger of Toronto.
