OLYMPIC AID NAMES SCOTT THORNLEY AGENCY OF RECORD

Olympic Aid of Aurora, ON has selected Scott Thornley + Company of Toronto as its agency of record. Olympic Aid is a humanitarian organization that raises funds to deliver sport and play programs to disadvantaged children. It was founded as an initiative of the Lillehammer Olympic Organizing Committee in 1994 and is supported by the Canadian, Norwegian and American governments. It hired Scott Thornley + Company after meeting with a number of agencies. The agency will develop a branding program to increase awareness of the organization as the 2002 Winter Games approach. The campaign will promote the benefits of sport and the right of every child to play, as stated in the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of the Child.
