MOLSON CANADIAN SETS BLIND DATE

Montreal-based Molson has set Dec. 13 as the day its Molson Canadian Rocks Blind Date event will take place. The music promotion will feature an unidentified band performing at the Kool Haus club in Toronto. The band's identity will remain unknown until the group takes the stage for the one-night show. Past Blind Date performers have included the Stone Temple Pilots, Foo Fighters, Metallica, Smashing Pumpkins and Lenny Kravitz. Entrance to the performance is limited to winners who have found a black bottle inside specially marked cases of Molson Canadian. Prize packages can also be won through promotions with local radio stations and MuchMusic, on-premise contests at bars and restaurants and through an online contest at the <http://www.iam.ca> Web site. The Molson Canadian Rocks Blind Date event is being promoted with a television advertising campaign from Encore Encore Strategic Marketing of Toronto. In addition to a black bottle, consumers may also find Blind Date merchandise such as T-shirts, hats, wallets and key chains in eligible cases of Molson Canadian.
