CDIC CAMPAIGNS TO RAISE AWARENESS
By Adnews Staff
The Canadian Deposit Insurance Corporation is encouraging Canadians to get more information about deposit insurance through an ongoing awareness campaign called "If you don't ask, you'll never know." The campaign first ran last fall and again earlier this year. The 30-second television spots describe which investment products are covered by federal deposit insurance. They will run nationally until November 11. The ads, created by the CDIC's former agency Goodgoll Curtis of Toronto, are being accompanied with banner advertising on the Globetrotter.com, Globeandmail.com, Globeinvestor.com, MyTO.com and MyBC.com Web sites. Banner advertising, which will also run until November 11, was created by the CDIC's new agency Focus Strategies of Vancouver. Public relations for the CDIC are handled by Weber Shandwick Worldwide of Ottawa.
