IRWIN AND FUNIMATION CREATE IF LABS

Toronto-based toy manufacturer Irwin Toy and FUNimation Productions Ltd., licensor of Dragon Ball Z for Canada, the United States, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa, have created a joint jenture called IF Labs. The venture will release a line of collectible figures modeled on characters from the direct-to-video Dragon Ball Z films "Lord Slug" and "Coolers Revenge." Irwin Toy's Dragon Ball Z toy line includes action figures, vehicles and other items. Irwin's other licensed toy brands include Reboot, Sailor Moon, Thunderbirds and Caillou.
