JEEP 101 PROGRAM HITS VANCOUVER STREETS

DaimlerChrysler Canada's Jeep 101 program is attempting to bring the wilderness to the streets of Vancouver this week. The two-day event, taking place this Friday and Saturday, offers potential customers to test-drive a Jeep brand vehicle on a specially constructed off-road course. The course includes obstacles such as a five-metre mini-mountain, ditch simulations and logs. All Jeep vehicles, including the new Jeep Liberty, will be available for testing. In addition to demonstrating the Jeeps' off-road capabilities, the event will also teach drivers safe and responsible off-road driving techniques. Unspecified "street level" promotion will take place during the days leading up to the event. Previous Jeep 101 events have been held in Toronto and Montreal. DaimlerChrysler used AVP of Toronto to organize the events and BBDO to create the promotional materials.
