YTV TEAMS WITH POST TO LAUNCH NEW FALL LINEUP

YTV has teamed up with Post cereals to launch the network's new fall schedule. Two promotions, the "Post i-Bid YTV Auction" and the "YTV Star for a Day Sweepstakes", broke on September 10. Viewers participate in the Post i-Bid online auction by collecting Post Bytes from inside specially marked Post cereal boxes and visiting <http://www.postibid.com> to place a bid for items such as a walk on part on a YTV series or lunch with the cast and crew of animated series Yvon the Yukon. Viewers can also use Post Bytes to enter the YTV Star for a Day Sweepstakes to win a guest appearance on the network's video show The Hit List. On-air support includes Bonus Bytes each Friday during which viewers can collect additional Bytes. Both contests will also be supported with live mentions during The Hit List, The Zone and Vortex, a 30-second tune-in spot and a 45-second contest spot. Post brands participating in the contests include Shreddies, Alpha-Bits, Sugar Crisp, Honeycomb and Honey Bunches of Oats.
