TSN TO BECOME "CANADA'S SPORTS LEADER"

TSN will unveil a new corporate logo and on-air look on September 5. The re-designed logo is red in colour and displays the TSN letters over the words "Canada's Sports Leader", the network's new tagline. TSN's previous tagline, "See It. Live It", has been retired. According to the network, the new logo resembles that of ESPN in the U.S., which holds a 30% stake in TSN. The new logo and on-air look will debut along with the premier of "SportsCentre", TSN's rebranded daily news and information program formerly called "Sportsdesk." A fall marketing campaign making use of the new logo is planned, as is an update of the network's Web site at <http://www.tsn.ca>. Advertising and design of TSN's logo and on-air look were handled in-house.
