MOOSEHEAD AWARDS ACCOUNT TO GOODGOLL CURTIS

Moosehead Breweries of Saint John, NB, has awarded its advertisng account to Toronto's Goodgoll Curtis. The appointment concludes an agency review Moosehead began in May after dropping its former agency TBWAChiatDay. TBWA had held the account for four and a half years. Goodgoll won the account over Ambrose Carr Linton Carroll, Padulo Integrated, groundzero and BWS Advertising. Steve Poirier, vice-president of marketing and sales for Moosehead, said that the brewer is currently preparing for next spring and is planning new creative for the Moosehead and Alpine brands. In addition to creative advertising, Goodgoll will also be responsible for Moosehead's media planning and buying.
