AD CAMPAIGN TO PROMOTE MERGED LAW FIRM

Toronto-based law firm Gowling Lafleur Henderson LLP will introduce itself to Canadian with a print advertising campaign breaking in the first week of September. The firm is the result of a merger of Gowlings and Smith Lyons LLP which will become official on September 1. Print ads will run in major daily newspapers and monthly business magazines. The campaign will also target travellers by placing advertising on 650,000 Air Canada ticket holders. The campaign's creative, developed by Interbrand Tudhope of Toronto, aims to inform clients and the public of the challenge of merging two law firms into one organization. Public relations for the firm are handled by Media Profile of Toronto.
