BENCHMARK PORTER NOVELLI SNAPS UP I3A ACCOUNT

Benchmark Porter Novelli has been named the public relations agency for The International Imaging Industry Association, based in Harrison, NY. I3A, as it is known, was formed by merger of the Digital Imaging Group and the Photographic and Imaging Manufacturers Association in July. Previously Digital Imaging Group used Ardell Group of San Diego for its public relations. The Photographic and Imaging Manufacturers Association handled its PR activities in-house. BenchMark won the account over incumbent Ardell and a third unidentified agency. The account will be led by BenchMark's Toronto office with support from its Montreal and Vancouver locations. BenchMark's first project will be an integrated public relations campaign in North America, Europe and Asia supporting the launch of I3A.
