GRAND & TOY AND MUCHMUSIC GEAR UP FOR BACK-TO-SCHOOL

Grand & Toy and MuchMusic are asking teens "What's in your locker?" as part of their third annual Locker Search promotion. Teens who fill out a ballot at a Grand & Toy retail location can win a MuchMusic Road Trip to meet music group Blink 182 somewhere in North America. The winner, who will find the Road Trip tickets in their locker, will be notified via a MuchMusic VJ and crew who will show up at the winner's school to award the prize. An in-store component of the promotion will award one teen a school locker containing over $600 worth of back-to-school supplies including a Palm m100 and a Cybiko Inter-tainment Wireless Computer. Grand & Toy and MuchMusic worked with Marketing Drive Canada on the Locker Search promotion for the 2001/2002 school year. A multimedia advertising campaign from Harrod & Mirlin/FCB, public relations from APEX Public Relations and an online component at <http://www.grandandtoy.com/backtoschool.com> from eccentricarts, all of Toronto, are supporting the six-week promotion.
