LOOMIS TO CARRY PARENT COMPANY'S NAME
By Adnews Staff
Loomis Courier Service of Mississauga is changing its name to Mayne Logistics Loomis as part of a corporate rebranding effort to create a universal brand presence for parent company Mayne Nickless Ltd. of Australia. Loomis officials said the rebranding is intended to reflect the global strength of the Mayne name and the ongoing evolution of Loomis' services, adding that adopting the Mayne Logistics name reinforces the company's position as part of an international organization. The company will alter its distribution facilities, trucks and shipping materials to use the Mayne Logistics Loomis name. Print ads running in trade publications such as Materials Management and Canadian Transportation Logistics Magazine over the next few months from Greaves & Allen of Markham, ON will inform customers of the change. Public relations for Mayne Logistics Loomis are handled by Apex Public Relations of Toronto.
