NABS WEST PICKS 2001/2002 BOARD OF DIRECTORS

The Western chapter of The National Advertising Benevolent Society has elected its 2001/2002 board of directors. Richard Deacon of The Globe and Mail's western office has been elected president for a two-year term. Michael Godin retains the position of general manager. John Voiles remains in the position of immediate past president. Lori Chalmers will serve as vice chairman. John Leckie will serve as secretary and legal council. Peter Jensen has been elected treasurer. Also elected to one-year terms on the non-profit organziation's board are Bruce Anthony of Kiss FM, Derrick Chamberlain of VAN NET, Lynne Forbes of VTV, Michelle Gurney of CKVU, Gwen Haugen of Grey Worldwide, Christopher Heatherington of Young & Rubicam, Maryse Lalonde of Western Living, Tim Monaghan of Cossette Communications, Jennifer Rees of MacLaren McCann, Glen Sayers of BC Newspaper Group, Pat Stadnyk of globeandmail.com and David Whitman of Aditus.
