BEST WESTERN SPOT PROMOTES KIDS STAY FREE OFFER

Best Western of Phoenix, AZ will bring out a new 30-second spot this week as part of its ongoing $25 million marketing campaign which is promoting the hotel chain as the world's largest. The new commercial, which consists of images of smiling kids, focuses on the chain's offer of free lodging for children 12 years-of-age or younger travelling with a paying adult. The campaign will run for the summer in both Canada and the United States on major networks and cable television stations. Fifteen-second versions of the spot are also running. The television advertising, in English, French and Spanish, is being supported with print advertising in travel publications and with regional marketing efforts. The campaign was created by Davis Media Group of Baltimore, MD. Best Western operates more than 4,000 independently-owned hotels in 80 countries.
