L'ORÉAL SIGNS BEYONCÉ KNOWLES AS SPOKESPERSON

L'Oréal Paris has signed an exclusive worldwide contract with Beyoncé Knowles of pop group Destiny's Child as spokesperson for the company and its brands. Knowles' first commercial for L'Oréal in the Canadian market debuted yesterday. Knowles is initially promoting the company's Féria haircolour. She joins Claudia Schiffer, Milla Jovovich, Kate Moss and Jennifer Lopez among the company's roster of spokespeople. In future projects Knowles will promote additional brands in print advertising as well as television. Advertising for L'Oréal is done by McCann-Erickson of New York. Adaptation for the Canadian market is done by L'Oréal Canada's advertising agency, Montreal-based Marketel.
