INVESTORS GROUP OFFERS TO TAME THE BEAST IN CAMPAIGN

Investor's Group of Winnipeg is offering to help Canadians succeed in uncertain markets in a new advertising campaign called "Tame the Beast." The campaign targets "serious investors" who want to grow their portfolios, said Sandra Metraux, senior vice-president of strategic and corporate marketing for Investors Group. A four-page ad in national and various daily newspapers broke yesterday. The ad carries the headline, "Has something been nibbling at your net worth?" It further reads, "Discover how successful investors have built their wealth through every conceivable kind of market." Creative strategy for the "Tame the Beast" campaign was done by Lanyon Phillips Communications of Vancouver. Media was handled by McKim Communications of Winnipeg. Adaptation of the campaign's creative for the Quebec market was done by Bos of Montreal.
