FAMILY COMMUNICATIONS RELAUNCHES CANADIAN HOME PLANNING
By Adnews Staff
Toronto-based Family Communications relaunched its Canadian Home Planning magazine yesterday. In addition to sporting a new look, the magazine's circulation has been increased from 100,000 to 124,000. Canadian Home Planning is distributed twice a year to home subscribers of The Globe and Mail in Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa and Winnipeg. A series of posters by Grey Worldwide of Toronto created for the launch party will be modified for an upcoming print campaign promoting the changes to the magazine. Each poster depicts a common home renovation tool as a piece of party gear. In one, a paint tray doubles as a cocktail platter, in another a paint can serves as an ice bucket and in a third a hammer appears as a bottle opener. Canadian Home Planning targets upscale urban male and female adults.
